Main Idea: God delights in hearing and responding to the prayers of his people, so pray with boldness, persistence, and assurance

Three principles Jesus teaches us about how to pray:

Pray with shameless boldness – vv. 5-8

God is more eager to hear and respond than a Grumpy Grouch

2. Pray with diligent persistence – vv. 9-10

God responds to our persistence with his presence and his answer

3. Pray with confident – vv. 11-13

God loves you more than the best earthly father could
